once again i found myself in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere.

i love it here..... you can do whatever you want....no body is here to tell you otherwise.

sharkworks porsche gt-3

we hooked up with the guys at sharkworks, a porsche tuning outfit based just outside silicon valley. i met sharkwork's alex a few years ago at our 911 turbo orgy. he managed to rip a low 11-sec run in the quarter mile...with and automatic no less.
alex and crew are still doing it, trading in thier older 996 cars for newer 997 models. sharkworks is coaxing 700 hp from the 911 turbo, with an emphasis on reliability. i like that.
this gt-3 featured a highly massaged engine, enlarged from 3.6-liters to 3.8. it's producing something like 460 hp and revs to an ungodly 8800 rpm.
i swear this porsche is smiling. it was built for roads like this. i get the feeling it doesn't see places like this too often which is a damn shame. so be kind to your porsche. exercise it regularly.
it'll  love you for it.
