At least once a day I check the autotrader for BMW 2002s and VW Corrado VR6s. I don't know why. It's not like I've got cash gushing from my pockets or something. Still, I look for these cars and imagine all the stuff I'd do to make them perfect.
I guess eBay has been looking at my browser history. There are hundreds of links to these cars and more than a few to the bits I'd need to make them right. Hey, at least it's not porno.
eBay has come up with what it calls the "Motor Master" contest. Basically, you make a video explaining why a certain Euro would make for an awesome project.
So I grabbed my long suffering man-servant Karl, a camera and went off in search of my dream car. I am sooo going to win this thing. Of course, being the anal sumbitch he is, Karl deflates my fantasy. Something about "fine print" and associates of eBay not being eligible to participate. What a total buzz kill. I'm going to kick him a few times, just becasue.
Look, I (we) can't do this but you can. Just make a clever video on why your particular car would make for the ideal project vehicle. If your vid is chosen, european car will support its completion as an officially sponsored project car. This is in addition to the winnings from eBay. I figure there's at least 10K in goods here.
Get off your ass and do it. here's the link:
