Yes its all aluminum and even more expensive than the outgoing model, but its completely worth it. Looking at the bodywork up close in Paris, the refined compound shapes along with the craftsmen like fit and finish it’s hard not to fall in love with this enormous vehicle.
Land Rover bucked the trend of this year’s show of sedans and roadsters with their new Range Rover SUV. It’s a giant amongst the crowd and with plenty of versatility to boot. Emerging through a waterfall, a pool then climbing onto its perch to showcase how serious this new Range was. As if a runway model reached the end of the runway, unsheathed a six-shooter pistol only to blast a quarter out of the sky.
This truck was all business and wasn’t so bad on the eyes either. Inside the refinement continued with an uncluttered center console along with a giant touch screen. This simplifies the user interface making the Range Rover more intuitive to control.
Land Rover is currently running through the Moroccan terrain to prove to the world’s media they really got it right with this Range. Later in 2013 the company has also announced the arrival of the worlds first off-road capable hybrid with a European model Range Rover receiving a diesel hybrid powertrain. Explaining one reason we keep seeing the car submerged in water, the hybrid battery system is capable of being fully submerged. Lets hope we see one state side soon.
