We love trolling the internet for EC worthy news and updates. Sometimes we find insane YouTube videos of cars doing things they shouldn’t. Sometimes we find rare glimpses of pre-production cars roaming the wild. Today, however, we found a children’s book we can certainly get behind. The Little Red Racing Car: A Father/Son/Car Story, by Dwight Knowlton is a brilliant book that centers around a barn yard discovery (a 1955 Masserati 300s) made by a father and son.
The book shows how a discovery of a rare car can yield a wonderful adventure and an unbreakable bond between father and son. With only a few days left on the Kickstarter clock, the goal is to reach the book’s goal of $25000 by Thursday Feb. 28th. There are several levels that anybody can comfortably contribute to. From $1 to $10,000 or more.
While we love the innovation and connectivity the web brings to everybody, we still have a soft spot for those who wade into the now murky waters of print. Remember, like a restoration project can be passed down from generation to generation, so too can a book.
